How to request permanent deletion of your OurPrisma account and data

You can ask us to permanently delete your OurPrisma account and the health data associated with it at any time. To protect your records, we verify each request manually before processing.

How to request deletion

Send us an email from the address on your OurPrisma account with the details below. Sending from your registered email address is how we confirm the request is really from you.

What happens next

  • We verify your identity using the email address you sent the request from.
  • Once verified, we process the deletion within 7 business days.
  • You'll receive a confirmation email when deletion is complete.
Deletion is irreversible. Once your account is deleted, you'll lose access to your records, insights, history, preferences, and any content you've saved in OurPrisma. You will not be able to recover this data.

What we keep after deletion

Some information may persist after your account is removed, in line with our Privacy Policy:

  • Records required by law - for example, transaction or audit records we're legally required to retain.
  • De-identified data - data that was de-identified to the HIPAA Safe Harbor standard before deletion is no longer attributable to you and may remain in aggregate datasets used to power comparative insights and improve the platform.

Other options

If you only want to stop sharing in specific ways - for example, disconnect an EHR source or opt out of trial matching - you can do that from your account settings without deleting your account. See the "Your Rights Over Your Data" section of the Privacy Policy for details.
