Who can see my health records?
Only you. Your identifiable records - names, dates, free-text notes - stay in your tenant's database and are never shared with our AI or with other patients.
When OurPrisma shows you patterns from people on a similar path, those comparisons run on data that's been de-identified to the HIPAA Safe Harbor standard, with k-anonymity applied so no individual is ever distinguishable.
Does OurPrisma give medical advice?
No. OurPrisma helps you understand your own records and the typical patterns in patients like you, so you can have better conversations with your care team. It is not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment from a qualified clinician.

How do I connect my health records?
From the app, head to Settings → Connections to link your patient portals (Epic MyChart, Cerner, and most major EHRs) using your existing portal credentials. Records pull in over the next few minutes.
If your provider isn't listed, email support@ourprisma.com and we'll see what we can do.
Can I delete my account and data?
Yes - at any time. See the account deletion page for instructions. Once verified, we permanently delete your account and associated health data within 7 business days.
How does cohort comparison work?
OurPrisma builds cohorts of patients with similar conditions, treatments, or trajectories. You see aggregate patterns - what's typical, what's working, where you fit - never any single stranger's data.
All cohort views enforce a minimum group size, so a number is only ever shown when there are enough people that no individual can be re-identified from the result.
Do I have to share my data with research?
No. Research opt-in is exactly that - opt-in. You can use OurPrisma entirely for yourself without contributing anything to studies, and you can change your mind in either direction at any time from your account settings.
How much does OurPrisma cost?
OurPrisma is free for individual patients. If your care team or research program has provided you with a tenant-specific link, any costs are covered by them.

Try resetting your password from the sign-in screen. If that doesn't get you back in - or if you no longer have access to the email on your account - write to support@ourprisma.com and we'll help you recover access.
